I am registered massage therapist and I see a lot of prenatal clients, however, I also help many postnatal clients who have had a c-section, we can do scar release massage to help your abs heal properly, and massage can help with lymphatic drainage when you’re puffy during pregnancy or after giving birth.
As a Chiropractor, prenatal care involves understanding the discomforts of pregnancy such as hip, pelvis, low back, neck pain etc. as well as the benefits of having a well aligned pelvis in order to create maximal amount of intrauterine space for the growing baby.
Chiropractors use soft tissue techniques, light adjusting techniques, the Webster technique and more to restore alignment, release tension and bring comfort to a pregnant woman’s changing body.
I love being able to make a difference in a mother-to-be’s life and also to be able to give her the best chance at having a healthy birth experience.
